Kinship is a new skincare brand that recently launched in late 2019, they believe in creating effective and affordable products that promote and support that skin glow. I’ve only tried 3 of the products so far in their range and I’m so excited to share them with you all! I will likely do a separate review on my Instagram sharing their pimple potion & instaswipe (AHA pads). Today I’ll be sharing with you all their SPF, Cleanser and Moisturizer and how they’ve worked for me along with the full ingredients list for your reference.

SELF REFLECT

Unlike most SPF products, they have that obvious SPF scent because of the filters they use. KINSHIP nailed it when they created their Self reflect, this product does not smell like a traditional SPF product and smells like vanilla and turmeric. This is also reef safe which is amazing. I’ve worn this alone and with makeup and it doesn’t give me a white-cast, any pilling issues which is fantastic! This is the 2nd physical sunscreen I’ve tried that does not give my skin that obvious white cast, I love it!

NAKED PAPAYA CLEANSER 

This cleanser has a really milky cream consistency and very mild on the skin. I love using this cleanser during the evening after I use my cleansing oil to remove the top layer of my makeup because it’s non-stripping and it provides my skin that gentle exfoliation, which I really enjoy. It also has this incredibly delicious scent to it which reminds me of a tropical vacation, definitely a great way to unwind for the day.

SUPERMELLO HYDRATING CREAM

This cream has a very bouncy, lightweight gel consistency. It smells just like vanilla flavoured marshmallows and leaves my skin feeling so hydrated, plump and soft to the touch. I love that there are skin soothing, nourishing and hydrating ingredients such as aloe vera, mango seed butter and squalane. I prefer to use this cream during the day because it’s the perfect texture and gives my skin an excellent amount of hydration for the day. People with combination or oily skin would really enjoy this cream because it’s not heavy feeling nor does it leave a residue behind and feels super comfortable.

My overall thoughts on the brand and the products:

I really appreciate and admire that KINSHIP really shows an amazing example for the beauty community on how they’re making change for our planet. They’re taking huge steps for a new brand which is incredible, I hope other brands will learn from them and do the same. So far, I’m a big fan of these three products and am blown away with the quality, what they stand for and I’m so excited for what they have instore for us.
