[REVIEW] Heimish All Clean Green Foam

Hello friends! I’m back with another skincare product review. This is a continuation of my lucky clover box products reviews from StyleKorean. I was fortunate enough to be selected to one of the winners to review the products in this box! This is one of the products that really caught my eye because it’s a cleanser and I go through cleansers pretty fast because I always use so much.

Product Description:

  • pH Balancing Facial Cleanser
  • Mildly Cleanses the skin
  • Minimum Formula
  • Moisturizing Cleanser

The first thing you will notice when you dispense this cleanser is it’s thick gel consistency and it’s noticeable herbal-scent. It lathers alright, it has this rich consistency to it and it didn’t foam up that much. I’ve tried using this cleanser on my double cleanse method and found it didn’t strip my skin moisture but retain it while cleaning the excess makeup off my face. I also could rub this cleanser around my eyes and didn’t experiencing any eye irritation. MANY cleansers in the market irritate the crap out of my eyes and I find myself very cautious applying my cleanser around my face. This one I don’t have to worry and can apply it close to my eyes without having them get all itchy and red.

I’m impressed and will continue to use this cleanser! Out of all the cleansers I own, this and the cosrx good morning one will always be my favourite gentle, non stripping cleansers! Please do keep it in mind if you use this alone without an oil cleanser to remove your makeup, you will notice that this doesn’t do a good job removing your makeup alone. My current favourite oil cleanser is the shu uemura blanc:chroma oil cleanser and also my favourite balm cleanser is the banila co clean it zero – original!

[REVIEW] PURITO Centella Green Level Buffet Serum

Hey guys!
I’m here to share my thoughts on the Purito Centella Green Level Buffet Serum. I received this product from eopenmarket and they were generous enough to send me another product as well which I will review later on this month.

Price: $17.30 for 60 mL
Price may vary where you purchase it from.
Here are some websites that sell it:
Roseroseshop
eopenmarket
ibuybeauti
Amazon
beautynetkorea

What is your skin type?
My skin type is combination – dehydrated but oily t zone, sensitive and acne prone.
My cheeks and chin are often very dry.

What is Centella?
The full name is Centella Asitica, it’s also known as Gotu kola, Tiger Grass and etc.
This is vegetable and medicinal herb that is often used for medicine and also to heal wounds.

Product Claims:
1. Protects skin barrier
2. Brightening your complexion
3. Has Anti-wrinkle, anti-aging properties
4. Nourishing the skin
5. Reduce inflammation to acne

Here is the list of the ingredients used in this product:

eb89560b873c81678a4ee1e7c384e3fe

As you can see in the ingredient list, it shares what most of these ingredients are and how they serve their purpose for their product. I highly respect companies such as Purito for keeping their when it comes to their branding, product description and products. There are so many skincare brands in the market today and it can be quite overwhelming picking and choosing what might be best and beneficial for your skin needs. I love how Purito products are suitable for all skin types.

Personally, the three main ingredients that caught my attention this product had was:
1. Niacinamide – stabilizes and tightens your skin barrier + visibly shrinks the appearance of pores and diminishes skin dullness
2. Ceramide – nourishes the skin and plumps up the skin’s appearance
3. Madecassic acid – This is an antioxidant and helps replenish the skin’s surface.

When is it best to use a product like this?
1. To prevent future break outs
2. To minimize and reduce the inflammation of existing blemishes
3. After sun-care
4. Aging skin – Reduce the signs of aging
5. Inflamed. dehydrated and angry skin
6. Everyday Skincare
7. Those who enjoy non sticky, watery and hydrating serum formulas

My thoughts:
The texture and quality is phenomenon! It’s this hybrid watery-thick gel consistency and it doesn’t leave any residue, odor or colour on the skin.  Did I mention that it does not leave a sticky residue?! I absolutely hate products that leave sticky residue. Luckily, I don’t have to worry about that with this product because it doesn’t leave anything unnecessary behind once massaged in.
I believe that because this product is so gentle on the skin, I don’t see any harm using this daily. Incorporating this into your skincare would be beneficial because it’s reasonably priced and effective with continuous use. I did not see amazing results until after the 1st month of usage and I continued using it after. I personally did not see any brightening results however what I saw was my inflamed, angry breakouts shrunk after 2-3 days of usage. This is kind of breakout where a simple pimple patch won’t shrink away so I turned to this serum. Not only the inflammation went down, you can visibly see my breakouts shrinking by size, redness was reduced significantly and it didn’t hurt when I touched it. I love how Purito isn’t extra with their packaging and focuses on the product’s integrity rather than spending so much time making the packaging look amazing and skipping out on the quality of the content inside. The packaging is simple, the pump is easy to dispense and it doesn’t make a mess. Now, don’t get me wrong – I love me some extra packaging but particularly for makeup. Skincare-wise, I could hardly careless how it looks aesthetically. All I want is a product that works and does what it claims.

Overall:

Texture: 5/5
Scent: 5/5 – Has this VERY light citrus, earthy scent to it but that quickly goes away
Price: 4/5
Performance: 4/5 – You need to be consistent with this product and you will see results
Packaging: 5/5

Until next time, friends.
Cheers!

[REVIEW] Innisfree Jeju Orchid Fluid

innis1

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful start to your weekend. I’ve been meaning to do a review on this product from time but I haven’t gotten the opportunity to until now. This is one of my favourites to use for my night time routine and I will share why! This product is part of the Innisfree Jeju Orchid line and this particular line is specifically for anti aging. The Jeju Orchid products were formulated to reduce wrinkles, evening out skin tone, nourish the skin, pore care and elasticity. This is my FAVORUITE line of all skincare products because not only it is affordable, every product has a generous amount where it will last you a long time and also is very effective+gentle on sensitive skin. I have sensitive, combination and acne prone skin so I have to be very cautious of what products I apply on my face. There is a light fragrance to these products however I have not noticed my skin getting irritated or getting inflamed from using them.

Innisfree Jeju Orchid Fluid
Initially I was confused what exactly this product might be simple because I don’t own anything like it. It has a very thin, water-like consistency but yet disperses very evenly on the skin and is nourishing. I usually shy away from these types of consistencies simply because they don’t usually do much for me however this product surprised me how well it absorbed onto my skin. This gives me very similar results the Laneige sleeping pack does. See the photo below of how the consistency of the product looks like:

Overall thoughts: I personally really loved this product. There was absolutely no tacky residue and I found this product fine underneath makeup. It didn’t make my makeup shift, oxidize or change the overall look of it. This is all around an amazing product and can be used during the day time, underneath makeup, regular skincare and also a sleeping pack! If you have never smelled any of the orchid line products, you have to when you get the chance!

Thanks for reading, I will see you next time~

Cheers!

A lot of people often ask questions on my post and other people’s post on ig for things. It’s quite simple (most of the time), look it up on google. You would be very surprised what you can find on google. It’s my favourite search engine to find answers/input to anything – beauty questions, conspiracy theories and much more.. Try not to self diagnose yourself using google – you will probably wind up on webMD and that site does state facts but there are people who panic over what they read. If you’re sick and please get a proper diagnosis from a regulated physician and don’t look up answers online. FAQ: Tips & Tricks for Online Kbeauty Shopping

Hi friends!
I had quite a few reoccuring questions on my instagram on the same topics.
This is an FAQ post for what to do and avoid online kbeauty shopping.

I only purchase from reputable sellers that have a high rating/ranking on eBay or for the individual websites, I check various online review sites and youtube videos to ensure the seller is legit and will not scam me for my money. You will/may have came across various online sellers who sell kbeauty products for a ridiculous cheap price from retail value. Take precautions and ensure the seller has a good rating, check the country of origin where they are shipping it from and always read the negative reviews. Some negative reviews are irrelevant complaints but always check them to see if people were sent a counterfeit product.

  • How do you check the item’s country of origin/location?

Untitled-1

  • How long do shipments take and do products ever get damaged? What do I do when the products are damaged during the shipping process?

Shipments usually take me 20-30 days for the item to arrive to Canada. You may need to check with the seller or on the item’s description, there probably will be a diagram/table indicating shipping time estimates.
As for damaged products, I rarely have issues like that but when something like does happen – contact the seller and see what options they give you.

If you have anymore questions, please leave a comment below this post or feel free to dm me/comment on my ig photos. I will compile these questions together and either revise this post or make another one (part 2).

Happy Shopping!
